Joining Hands for Mom – Assistance for Mothers
An initiative of the Rishon LeZion Foundation for working mothers.
There are thousands of working mothers in Rishon LeZion who find it difficult to go out into the working world and finance the full cost of afternoon child care.
In order to help these mothers hold down a full-time job until 15:30-16:00, we are looking to subsidize the cost of afternoon child care, so that the mother can develop her career, work full time, earn more, while at the same time not worry about the afternoon child care payment.
These are minimum wage positions, up to NIS 7,000/month, where the feasibility for placing children in an afternoon care framework is borderline and is not really worth it, compared with the pay received for the work hours.
Every donation you make will receive a shekel-for-shekel match, effectively doubling your contribution.
If you too are interested in supporting women’s empowerment, and with the help of a small donation assist another family to enter the working world in a full-time and meaningful position that will enable flexibility and placing children in supportive frameworks, then this is the time to donate to the Joining Hands for Mom project.
